I’ve seen more cheeses enhanced with truffles

It is elaborate on cheese mixed with truffle. As a cheese and truffle lover, when I see black truffles in cheese, I can’t help but try them. So far, I’ve tried gouda cheese, a typical Dutch cheese with truffles added, British cheese cheddar, sheep’s cheese pecorino, and crème de cito.

You can see the black grains of the truffle on the surface of the Gouda truffle in the photo. As soon as you open the package, the truffle smells soft and makes you feel better. The taste is like the milky taste of Gouda with truffles adding luxury. If you slice it thinly and use it as a snack, you will be able to fully enjoy its flavor. As an hors d’oeuvre, or after a meal, it’s a cheese you’ll want to enjoy slowly with wine.

What is gouda cheese?

Gouda cheese is a semi-hard cheese made from cow’s milk, and it is said that the origin of the name is that it was made in the town of Gouda in the Netherlands. It accounts for about 60% of Dutch production, far ahead of the second-placed Edam cheese, which is about 20%. It is well-known in Japan because of its mild taste, and it is also used as a raw material for various processed cheeses. According to Dutch rules, a large disk-shaped cheese with a diameter of 35 cm, a height of 11 cm, and a weight of 12 kg is wrapped in yellow wax. Edam cheese has a red wax, so you can distinguish the cheese from the wax. By the way, this wax slows down the evaporation of water and protects the cheese, but it is not edible. Be sure to remove it when eating.
